Flushing Treatment

Facial flushing is a skin condition that requires a precise diagnosis of its cause and type. It's essential to address not only blood vessel issues but also factors like hormones and skin barriers. There are various reasons for facial flushing.

It can be triggered by mental tension, stress, or temporary heat sensations, which typically resolve quickly. However, in some cases, the facial skin’s tiny blood vessels lose their ability to contract and remain dilated continuously.

Alternatively, chronic flushing can result from menopause, hormonal imbalances, acne, inflammation, regenerative processes, or medication side effects. The treatment approach varies depending on the specific cause and condition of the flushing.

Treatment

The flushing laser is a high-power treatment used for conditions like flushing, telangiectasia, and acne redness. It’s quick and effective. This laser releases energy that specifically targets and destroys blood vessels, treating vascular issues. It’s known for its excellent effectiveness while causing minimal harm to the surrounding skin tissues avoiding burns or pigmentation caused by laser heat.
Aside from laser treatment, daily habits like prolonged sun exposure can speed up aging and harm the elastic fibres around blood vessels. Spicy foods and alcohol can worsen redness. Saunas or places with large temperature differences can also have negative effects. It’s important to keep your skin moisturized and avoid excessive exfoliation.
