- Can I book an appointment at theWell Medical Clinic?
- Yes, you can call us at least a day before and book an appointment to see a doctor. Even “walk-in” patients can call us at least a day before and book an appointment to see a doctor at the clinic.
- Do I need to book an appointment to see the doctor?
- No. The walk-in clinic is open from 9 am to 9 pm Mon-Fri and 9am-3pm on Saturdays. Some problems do require an appointment such as PAP tests and physical exams.
- Can I book an appointment on the same day?
- No, we are usually fully booked on the same day. However, if you call us before you come in, we can register your name on the walk-in list. In doing so, your wait time will be less than that of “walk-in” patients who came in by the door to register. Please give us a call to register your name on the walk-in list.
- Why do I have to wait even with an appointment?
- Our staffs are always working diligently to meet your appointment time and minimize your waiting time. However, depending on the daily patient volume and complexity of each patient’s condition, there may be some waiting period to see the doctor even with an appointment.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Please call us at least 24 hours in advance when booking or cancelling an appointment. If an appointment is cancelled on the same day or if a patient does not show up for the appointment more than three times, $60 cancellation fee will be charged.
- Do you have a print-out for doctors’ schedule?
- No, we are a busy walk-in clinic with multiple doctors working at same time. Our doctors’ schedule can change in a short notice. Please call the office to check doctors’ schedule to avoid any inconvenience.
- Why does the clinic sometimes stop accepting patients prior to their posted closing time?
- The Medical Services Plan (MSP) places restrictions on the number of patients that a doctor can see
in a day. The doctors can reach their maximum number of patients before the clinic closing time. We recommend that you call us to register on walk-in list before you come in.
- What services are not covered by MSP?
- MSP does NOT cover fees for any forms, including sick notes, driver’s physicals and work physicals. Please call us if you have any questions regarding what is not covered by MSP and BCMA recommended fee guideline.
- What if I do not have valid medical coverage on the day of visit?
- If your Care Card is not valid on the day of the visit, there will be a charge for the visit. We urge you to contact MSP to resolve the issue.
